Special Events Associate (full-time)

As a member of the Development Department, this individual works closely with the Director of Development, Executive Director and Board to implement all aspects of the annual Fall Benefit Auction and Spring Gala, coordinates other events for members, special exhibitions, and the capital campaign, and performs other duties as assigned. Reports directly to Director of Development.

Qualifications: at least 2 years experience in special events.  Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; professional demeanor; highly organized working method and ability to work at a fast pace and manage multiple tasks; knowledge of art history and the New York art world; B.A. or M.A. in a relevant field; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, and DonorPerfect database software.

Development Assistant (full-time)

As a member of the Development Department, this individual provides administrative support to the Development Department and Director’s Office on all areas of fundraising including membership, annual giving, institutional giving, capital campaign, special events, and database management.. Reports to the Director of Development.
